- Intestinal insecticides , after use, are in the leaves and stems of the plant for some time, entering the body of the pest through food into the digestive system. After which the insect immediately dies;
- Systemic insecticides are designed to protect the plant and make it unsuitable for insects to feed on. And all because after getting a systemic insecticide on a plant, it begins to move through the vascular system. It is very important to note the advantage that the treated plant does not endanger either the human body or domestic animals. And the main thing is that it is very economical, because it is quickly absorbed by the plant and is not washed off by precipitation.
In addition to classification according to the principle of action, they are divided into two groups according to the spectrum of impact on harmful organisms:
- Continuous insecticides are used to kill several types of insects at the same time;
- Insecticides of selective action are used against a specific type of pest (anthelmintics from parasitic worms, nematocides from roundworms and acaricides from ticks).
