Even the most fertile soil will not provide the plants with good nutrition and will not saturate them with all the useful substances. In addition, soils are depleted from annual exploitation and require complex fertilization.

Types of fertilizers

Fertilizers are classified into: organic, mineral, microbiological, organo-mineral fertilizers and microfertilizers.

Microfertilizers are a kind of mineral fertilizers, only in an easily digestible form (chelate form). A large amount of organic matter can provoke a lack of elements such as potassium, calcium, iron, cobalt, zinc, molybdenum, manganese and many other trace elements. In such cases, farmers resort to the use of microfertilizers.

Microbiological fertilizers are a concentrated complex of microorganisms that demonstrate protective, growth-stimulating and other beneficial effects on the plant.

Organo-mineral fertilizers - combined preparations from organic matter and mineral fertilizers. Moreover, organic matter forms the basis, and through special processing, a complex of macro- and microelements is introduced into the composition.

Many are guided by the rule that it is better to add to the soil what is natural - organic fertilizers. This is a common misconception, the fact is that the plant organism synthesizes the necessary organic elements from inorganic substances. The advantages of such drugs are obvious:

  • Ease of transportation;
  • Easy storage;
  • The use of mineral products does not require huge efforts (as, for example, applying manure to the soil).

Mineral fertilizers, depending on the main active ingredient, are divided into types:

  1. Nitrogen fertilizers - are used in agriculture more often than all other types. Vegetables, shrubs, fruit trees, berry crops, flowers and even a lawn are responsive to nitrogen. Only legumes are less demanding on nitrogen.
  2. Potash fertilizers - sunflower, buckwheat, beets, potatoes and other vegetable crops need more potassium. To a lesser extent, rye is used for the full development of potassium. Wheat and other grain crops.
  3. Phosphorus fertilizers - all plants can experience a lack of phosphorus to one degree or another. Phosphorus deficiency is fraught with a slowdown in the growth and development of the plant, grain spikelets are at risk of being "empty". Without this element, one should not hope for a rich harvest. It is necessary to introduce phosphorus-containing preparations in the fall, so that in the spring the soil gives useful crops.
  4. Complex fertilizers - consist of several elements and are used for almost all crops. For example, Nitroammophoska (nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium fertilizer) "with one shot" will solve the problem of depleted soil, poor in useful elements.

Organic fertilizers contain plant elements or animal waste products. These are: manure, sawdust, ash, compost, peat, bird droppings and green manure.

The benefits of using organics are:

  1. Useful elements in organic matter are contained in a form more accessible to plants;
  2. Contains useful substances in the complex;
  3. Improves soil structure;
  4. Components of natural origin;
  5. Do not pollute groundwater.

But at the same time, there are also disadvantages:

  1. Due to the small percentage of the content of the elements, the cost of funds is large;
  2. Requires large labor costs for the introduction of organic substances;
  3. Some species are undesirable to be applied to clay soils in order to avoid soil salinization;
  4. In manure and compost, pathogens, larvae of harmful insects and weed seeds can develop. Therefore, you need to be vigilant when you decide to buy fertilizers.

Fertilizers for the garden

In the spring, summer residents, gardeners and farmers begin a crucial period. With the first rays of the sun, it's time to buy fertilizer for the garden. The harvest will depend on this, as well as the condition of the trees and bushes. Benefits of fertilizing your garden:

  1. Useful substances penetrate the roots of the plant, stimulate the development of a strong and healthy rhizome;
  2. Increase the size of the crop;
  3. Increases the quality of the fruit;
  4. Regular feeding strengthens immunity to diseases and pests;
  5. Increases the level of resistance to frost and drought.

During the summer, it is equally important to regularly and if necessary feed trees and shrubs. This will be the key to a good harvest.

Fertilizers for the garden

Regardless of whether you grow vegetables in a greenhouse or outdoors, they all need useful elements. You need to buy fertilizers for the garden if you want:

  • Improve growth and fruiting;
  • Accelerate the ripening period;
  • Strengthen immunity to diseases;
  • Improve crop level;
  • Extend fruit shelf life.

On the Agrobiz.net portal you can buy fertilizers for the garden, consult with experts and place an order without any effort. A large selection of biological and organic fertilizers will allow you to review the options on one site at a convenient time.
